Volunteers and Donations
Mar-Le-Nie is built around volunteerism. This helps to keep studio costs and prices low. In order to help the studio to continue to contain costs, parents are requested to help. Each family is asked to contribute the following as a one-time donation:
6 rolls paper towels
6 rolls toilet paper
2 box tissues
2 packages of paper cups, preferably 3-oz. cups
1 container liquid hand soap
1 box ice pops
1 pkg. 13-gal. tall kitchen trash bags
1 pkg. large trash bags
In order to keep track of contributions, a checklist will be given to each family. As the donations are brought in, we ask that you check off the items. When the list is completed, please return the signed checklist to the envelope on the main bulletin board.
In addition to these requested items, please consider donating any of the following, which are needed for the studio to operate smoothly: napkins, snacks, plastic ware, and dish detergent. Snacks such as fruit or veggies, pretzels or crackers are also appreciated, especially during recital time.
Besides simply donating materials, we also need your help. While we understand that not all are able to help, we ask that you consider volunteering. Our goal is to make this the best experience possible for all of the dancers.
Security
For the students' safety, no dancer will be permitted to wait downstairs for a parent. Unless the student is driving, a parent or other responsible adult must come upstairs into the studio to accompany the dancer outside. Please do not call the Studio and ask that dancers wait outside for a ride after class.
Parking
Parking is available along the side and around the back of the building.
Perfumes
The Director is highly allergic to scents such as perfumes, scented body lotions, after shave, etc. Please do NOT come into the studio wearing any of these; there are restrooms available downstairs and on studio level in which scents may be washed off.
Bulletin Board and Email
The bulletin board and email are our primary means of communicating with parents. It is your responsibility to check the bulletin board weekly and your mail slot. Dancers who drive are responsible to read it and pass information to parents. If you have an email address and would like to receive dance studio information via email, please forward your email address to Beth Rensch (info@mar-le-nie.com)."
